By using Amber ("the bot") in any Discord server or direct message context, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Amber. These terms apply to all users, including server owners and administrators who add Amber to their server.
By using Amber you confirm that you meet Discord's minimum age requirement (13 in most regions, or older as required by your local laws) and that your use of Amber complies with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
Amber is provided for personal, non-commercial use in Discord servers and direct messages. You may:
You may not use Amber to:
All dabloons, items, pets, upgrades, and other in-bot currency or goods are virtual and have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for real money, transferred outside of the bot, or redeemed in any form.
We reserve the right to adjust, reset, or remove in-bot economy data at any time without notice or compensation, including in cases of abuse, bot updates, or service changes.
Server administrators who use Amber's moderation commands (kick, ban, timeout, warn, etc.) are solely responsible for how those features are used in their servers. Amber executes commands as instructed — we are not responsible for moderation decisions made by server staff.
The /radio and /download commands allow streaming and downloading of audio content. You are responsible for ensuring your use of these features complies with applicable copyright laws and the terms of service of YouTube, Spotify, and other content platforms. Amber does not store audio content — all streaming is done in real time and nothing is saved to disk.
Amber is a hobby project maintained by a solo developer. We make no guarantees of uptime, availability, or continued operation. The bot may go offline for maintenance, updates, or for any other reason at any time. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by downtime.
Amber is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the bot will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from harmful components. Your use of Amber is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Novodude and the AKO™ Team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use Amber.
We reserve the right to deny access to Amber to any user or server at any time, for any reason, including violations of these terms. Server owners may remove Amber from their server at any time by kicking the bot.
These terms may be updated over time. Significant changes will be noted in the bot's GitHub repository. Continued use of Amber after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
For questions about these terms, contact Novodude via the GitHub repository or through Discord.
