My Hobbies

Things I do when I'm not writing code.

I love working with electronics โ€” building small circuits, experimenting with microcontrollers, and understanding how hardware and software talk to each other. There's something satisfying about making a physical thing respond to code.

Computers are basically my main hobby. I run Arch Linux with a custom Hyprland setup, I enjoy tweaking my system, writing bots, building games, and learning new things. I'm always working on some project.

I have a deep appreciation for the natural world โ€” ecosystems, how species interact, environmental balance. Ecology reminds me that everything is connected, kind of like a well-designed system.

Dance and theater are a big part of who I am. Performing is one of the few things that gets me completely out of my head. There's a logic to movement and storytelling that I find just as satisfying as writing a clean algorithm.

Making things with my hands is a nice contrast to staring at a screen. Whether it's building something small or just tinkering with craft materials, I enjoy the slow, deliberate process of creating a physical object.

I read a wide range โ€” math, science, fiction, philosophy. Books are how I explore ideas that I can't find in a YouTube video. They slow me down in a good way and make me think more carefully.

Music is always on when I'm coding or studying. I listen to a pretty wide range. I also built a radio system in my Discord bot Amber that lets me play my own playlists โ€” so music and programming kind of merged for me.
